Meaden & Moore is delighted to announce the promotion of John J. Balsamo, 
CPA, CFE, to Vice President Principal. John is a highly respected member of the Investigative Accounting Group, bringing over 15 years of experience to his role.
Throughout his tenure at Meaden & Moore, John has served as a Practice Liaison for international and London markets, providing forensic accounting and financial investigation services, litigation support, and dispute resolution services. He has also led internal control review and assessment services for clients in the insurance and legal professions, corporations, and exempt organizations.
Prior to joining Meaden & Moore, John worked as a Special Auditor Investigator for the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. In this role, he conducted numerous investigations involving money laundering, employee dishonesty, over-billing, kickback schemes, and bribery. His expertise in forensic accounting has led him to testify as an expert witness in Grand Jury indictments, depositions, and trials.
John is widely recognized for his exceptional client service, commitment to exceeding expectations, and dedication to delivering service excellence. He plays a pivotal role in business and client development, mentoring colleagues, and fostering the professional growth of Meaden & Moore’s staff.
