Meaden & Moore team members had the opportunity to attend a City Club of Cleveland forum held in partnership with the Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF), titled Astronaut Sally Ride’s Legacy, LGBTQ+ Rights, and Progress for Women in STEM. The event brought together community leaders, advocates, and professionals to explore the enduring impact of a pioneering figure in American history.

Sally Ride's groundbreaking journey as the first American woman in space is well-known. The new documentary SALLY, produced by National Geographic Documentary Films and directed by Cristina Costantini, explores Ride’s experience as both a pioneering figure in STEM and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, shedding light on aspects of her life and legacy that were previously untold.

A special thank you to The City Club of Cleveland for hosting this important discussion.

For those who could not attend in person, a livestream of the forum is available through the City Club’s website

At Meaden & Moore, we’re proud to stand with those who break barriers—and to support conversations that help move our communities forward.
