Luda Arkhipov Elected to the NAWIC Cleveland Board
Luda Arkhipov, Senior Manager in our Cleveland office, was recently elected to the Board of NAWIC Cleveland.
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) originally began as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded in 1953 by 16 women working in the construction industry. Knowing that women represented only a small fraction of the construction industry, the founders organized NAWIC to create a support network.
The Cleveland Chapter #156 was founded on July 13, 1968 and is made up of business owners, project managers, engineers, architects, attorneys, accountants, estimators, construction managers, trades women, and others employed in the construction industry whom can expect value from their investment in NAWIC.
With over 12 years working in public accounting, Luda’s accounting experience has enabled her to engage with a comprehensive and diverse client list in various industries. Her responsibilities include planning of engagements, preparing financial statements, working with clients and the accounting staff to find solutions to problem areas, and developing ideas for growth. Luda also conducts audits of 401(k) plans, pension, ESOP plans, and health and welfare plans.
