Congratulations to Kendra Williams for being recognized as a Crain's Cleveland Business 2019 "Forty Under 40" honoree. Crain's Cleveland Business honors 40 people under the age of 40 who have made an impact on Northeast Ohio's business and civic communities. The recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony on November, 25, 2019 at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Kendra is a Senior Manager in Meaden & Moore’s Assurance Services practice and a member of our not-for-profit core group. Over her 15 years with the Firm, Kendra has worked directly with numerous not-for-profit organizations performing both attestation and tax services. In addition to her not-for-profit experience, Kendra also conducts audits of 401(k) and 403(b) plans, pension plans and a wide variety of corporate engagements including manufacturing clients.
Kendra is one of three Firm leaders that oversee planning a day-long leadership conference where students from various colleges are welcomed into our offices to learn more about Meaden & Moore and the accounting field. She also assists with Meaden & Moore’s support and involvement of Cleveland State University’s CPA Camp sponsored by the Ohio Society of CPAs, which focuses on exposing minority high school students to the accounting profession.
Kendra is the current Board President of the Women’s Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation and Chaired the For Women, Forever Annual Dinner in 2018. Kendra is a Board Member (2017–present) and Treasurer (2018- present) of Artsnow, Inc. and a current member of ATHENA Akron, Inc. She is also the Corporate Chair of the 2019 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Northeast Ohio, Light the Night Akron.
Kendra graduated from the 2016/2017 Leadership Akron Signature Program, and has been a Diversity on Board & Community Leadership Institute Presenter since 2017. She educates community leaders on the basics surrounding not-for-profit financials to assist them as they expand their community involvement.
