Experience
John has more than 30 years of public accounting experience concentrating in the area of taxation. John has been responsible for providing tax consulting services to businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate and construction. He has extensive experience in corporate and partnership taxation, tax accounting methods, executive tax planning and structuring acquisitions and divestitures to minimize tax costs. John has successfully represented taxpayers in matters before the IRS and other tax agencies. Prior to joining Meaden & Moore, John was a tax partner in a big four international public accounting firm.
In addition to public accounting experience, John was the federal tax manager for a Fortune 500 manufacturer where he was responsible for the coordination of all U.S. tax compliance and the development and implementation of tax planning strategies and techniques. John also acted as an instructor for graduate-level tax courses at Kent State University and has been a speaker at many seminars regarding various tax issues.

Kent State University, Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics and finance.
